Power Rangers Alternate/Unused Logos

During pre-production, things change. Some designs may change or vary. Also with logos, sometimes the higher ups don't like it and finalize them. Sometimes they are just place holders for something better. It is unknown why some of these changes happened. There are also some logos slightly different with Wild Force, Dino Charge and Megaforce but they are minor edits so I didn't include them.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993-1995, 2010)
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers logo (top left) logo is the show logo. The toy and merchandise logo (top right) and the international one omitted 'Mighty Morphin' (bottom left). The 2010 "reversioned" logo for the Disney re-edited episodes.

Power Ranger Zeo
Power Rangers Zeo originally was going to be called "Zeorangers." The logo was going to be originally used on the show and used in early promotional items that public was not meant to see. The logo was also used internationally on toys and merchandise. 

Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie
It originally was going to be called "Power Rangers: Race to the Volcano," here is an early promotional from Jackie Marchand with said logo.


Power Rangers Turbo
This "Turborangers" logo was used on international toys. 

Power Rangers Ninja Storm
Same logo, just different coloring. The right logo was seen on an early promotional flyer. I like the final one (left) that has the colors of the main trio: red, yellow and light blue.


Power Rangers SPD
The original logo to right had very little color and alternate style font. I like the finalized one to the left. 

Power Rangers Mystic Force
The alternate logo to the right was used on some merchandise. I like the left finalized logo with the design in back. 

Power Rangers Jungle Fury
Similar logo but different colors and the F and Y are bigger and Jungle is in white and smaller and different font.

Power Rangers (2017)
The 2017 movie logo is silver with red highlights with bolt in center in a straight line. One of the prototypes was red and blue background with two lines and thunderbolt R and P.

Power Rangers Battle For The Grid

A few days ago, NWay announced they would be releasing a multi-platform game that will be available for PS4, XBOX One, Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC. It will be available in April and is now available for pre-order. Many fans first thought it was a 'port' for Legacy Wars. It is a brand new game that just looks like Legacy Wars. There is no cards, there is a story mode and it is player against player online as well. 

So far the characters announced have been Red MM Ranger (Jason), Green MM Ranger (Tommy), Yellow Super Megaforce (Gia), and Lord Drakkon. Skins will be available to go over the character but aren't new characters. Skins announced have been Pink MM Ranger, Lord Drakkon final form and Evil Green Ranger. It is believed Ranger Slayer will be a playable character as well. Fans are weary if this game will be 'good' or not. I think its all subjective. So far I'm excited. I like Legacy Wars and hoped for a console game.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Happy To Be Me - Episode Review

"Happy to be Me"
Tynamon wants to use Odius' hammer and the stolen Fusion star, so he steals Levi's voice and trades voices. In order to use the stars, he needs the voice. Levi asks Preston for a spell to reverse it. Victor and Monty make fun of Levi's voice and Brody convinces them he is contagiously sick. They run away. Preston looks through his book and found a spell which Levi pushes him to use. Preston uses the spell but it shrinks him to the age he was when Galvanax attacked. Levi still has the voice. Buzzcams are detected and five Rangers go off. Levi leaves sadly. 

Tynamon has the star and shows it off. Skullgators are released and combined to make Megamauler. The Rangers morph and enter the megazord. The megazord falls apart and they escape. Tynamon berates Megamauler and he shrinks him to human size. He leaves and Tynamon goes after him. Levi is made fun of by kids at the park and befriends a little girl. He calls himself Aiden. Victor and Monty are in hazmat suits at school. Preston apologizes to Levi. Levi says its okay, he says its not the end of the world. He says he is happy to be me. Preston finds a seperation spell and brings Levi back with voice and all. Tynamon has Levi's voice and it changes back. He finds Megamauler on the ship.

Megamauler doesn't want to fight. Tynamon says he is scared and ricks him to go back. Mick gives him Superstar mode. The Rangers morph. Levi dons the new mode and fights the monsters. He destroys the monster and he fights Tynamon. Red goes to fire mode and the other Rangers help. Levi defeats Tynamon and heretreats. The Rangers take the Fusion star back. Megamauler is made big again. The Rangers call the Megazord, combine the Blaze Megazord and Ultrazord and destroy the monster. At the park, Levi surprises the little girl who helped him and asks if she wants to play ball with them. The boy who bullied Levi asks to play with him, he asks the girl and she says yes. Victor and Monty get their masks knocked off and roll in the mud.

Review:
They should have more villains with sexy voices like Jordi Webber, it makes them more interesting.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Echoes of Evil - Episode Review

 Sledge's ship comes out of a wormhole and they can't find energems. They find an asteroid full of Super Ninja Steel on Odius' ship. They enter Odius' ship and find it damaged. Odius comes in and Cosmo Royale introduces her. Sledge wants to help them, he wants the asteroid. Odius says they have a deal. Badonna asks for her help to be loyal. She says why Sledge wants the asteroid. Sledge takes the asteroid. Poisandra is happy with it. The ship is back online. Badonna took the Super Steel from the asteroid. They head to Earth. 

The Rangers return to school and Dane, their dad. He puts his trophy back. He leaves. They see a commercial for Victor and Monty showing off Monster Repellent. Victor and Monty announce they are not going back to school and they are rich and donate a million dollars to the school. They reveal a Victor statue. He remembers escaping from the monsters by farting. The Rangers ask how they escaped and they deny telling them. The Rangers go to the base. Mick teleports to them and they all hug.  He tells them that Galaxy Warriors is back. They have the Nexus is broken and with them. The statue is at the park and buzz cams are flying around. The Rangers are in their ninja suits. The monsters arrive and Smellaphant thinks the prism is in the statue. 


The humans spray their repellant and the monster takes it and Badonna blasts at the,. Preston casts a spell and tries trapping the Monsters. Odius traps them instead. Odius takes the Prism out. She revives it and turns it evil. She shows off the Ninja Super Steel and puts it in the prism to make her own stars. Preston helps them escape. The Rangers take the super steel. Mick recieves the super steel. The Rangers fight and knock Odius down and the Nexus spell is broken. Nexus spits out Power Stars for the Rangers. Odius and Badonna leave and the Rangers morph. They fight Smellaphant. Red dons the lion armor. The Rangers blast him. Levi does his star morph. combined with the flame strike from Brody. Smellaphant goes down. Cosmo Royale makes him huge and the Rangers call the Lion Fire Zord. The Megazord is formed and fights the monster. 

Odius says something menacing. The Rangers put the Prism back. The Rangers ask Mick if he's going back to the Lion Galaxy and he says he'll stay. Back at the school, Victor and Monty are broke and people want refunds. The principal confronts them about the check. They grovel to be taken back. The repellant is broken and stinks up the school.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Outfoxed - Episode Review

 The rangers talk about Foxatron in the school and says failure isn't an option. Preston bumps into Sandy, a girl who wants to study. Victor and Monty offer to help. Odius charges the medallions. Venoma and Wolvermean enter and Wolvermean wants his medallion back. Badonna says it is theirs. Odius tells them they can destroy the Rangers and get the medallions back. Back at the base, Mick and Redbot has been working on fixing the stars. The prism show off new zords. They throw super steel inside the nexus but it powers down. It creates new stars but they are stuck inside the prism. Mick doesn't know why. A glow appears and out of a portal comes three shrouded people. They say they are on their side. They say legend says they have to prove themselves worthy of the Blaze Zords. They are the only ones to unlock the stars. 

The Rangers arrive to fight Wolvermean and Venoma and morph. Venoma leaves, saying its hard to fight without her medallion. They think they are worthy and are disappointed to see the stars are still stuck inside the prism. Mick has an idea to restore the old stars. They give them a list. They find Ms. Finch who lost her wedding ring down a drain. Sarah says they have to help. Hayley and Calvin help and the others leave. Preston gets the ingredients in the science lab and see Victor combining the wrong chemicals. They mix the wrong things and nothing happens at first but then blows up in their faces. Victor and Monty are stuck. They leave. Preston helps Sandy with her project. She says she is new and he apologizes. Levi, Brody and Sarah leave while Preston helps Sandy. 

Hayley and Calvin helped the teacher and get the stuff. Sarah gets the solvent. Levi, Brody and Sarah help Victor and Monty get unstock. Mick puts the star in the mix and the Rangers return. One of the stars are fixed. They are out of time. The prism glow and shoot out the new stars. The three strangers return and explain they have done well with their actions that they show they were worthy of the zords. They remember helping the teacher with their ring, helping the girl with her experiment and helping Victor and Monty. It was the deeds. The strangers leave. Wolvermean is attacking the city and the Rangers call their zords. Ninja Blaze Megazord is formed. 

Wolvermean and Ninja Blaze fight. The Medallions are charged and Odius reactivates the Foxatron. Foxatron destroys Wolvermean. Foxatron and Blaze fight. The three strangers watch. We see the Chrono Morpher when the center one folds his arms. The Rangers glow and teleport, they attack Foxatron in a  Ranger attack. The Foxatron goes down and Odius is kicked out. Hayley and Sarah wonder who the cloak strangers were. Preston and Sandy reunite and she thanks him. Victor and Monty have bald heads. 

Review:
Tzachor had his take on MMPR with Megaforce and Chip had his take on MMPR with Ninja Steel and Dean Isrealite had his take on MMPR with the 2017 movie and think Dean succeeded better. Fans liked it more. Where Tzachor and Lynn tried to imitate (with lines, music or familarity), Dean reinvented but kept the spirit.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Fan Frenzy - Episode Review

At school, Simone Swift proposes Levi with a burger ad. He declines and she leaves. Chaz a fan introduces himself.  He shows his autograph and he says how much it means to him. Levi tells him his manager wrote that. He offers to hang out. At the Galaxy Warrior ship, Dreadwolf changed Cosmo into a werewolf. He returns him to normal. Simone find Victor and wants him to model in a burger campaign and he agrees. Calvin brings Mick to a store, asks if he needs a hand and he says no Buzzcam goes by and takes video of Calvin. Calvin is freaked out and tells the Rangers. Levi is stopped by Chaz. 

The Rangers reunite with Calvin and morph when Dreadwolf arrives. Dreadwolf blasts Levi down. Mick sees the action. Dreadwolf throws three claws at Levi and it ends up on Mick. The Rangers go to Mick. Mick says he's okay. In shop class, Chaz is dressed like him. Levi says he is annoying him. Mick arrives and looks like a werewolf, the Rangers hide it. They go to the base. Chaz stops Levi. Chaz tells him he told his friends he would sign some stuff. Levi tells him to give him some space and they aren't friends. Mick shows werewolf behavior. Rednot says the claw is stuck in his head. The Rangers remove it and it dissolves. Mick returns to normal. 

At the park, Chaz tells his friends Levi isn't coming. They call him a liar and leave. Dreadwolf attacks an throws a claw and it hits Victor. He then hits Chaz, thinking it is Levi. Victor turns into  a werewolf during his burger commercial. The Ranger survive and find the Werewolf Chaz. The Rangers morph and fight Dreadwolf. Levi tries talking to Chaz. Levi sings a song and it calms Chaz and he takes out the claw and returns him to normal. Mick tells Levi to use the lion armor and he morphs. Levi arrives and uses the armor. He grows big and the Rangers use the Megazord to destroy him. Chaz is telling his story when Levi arrives and they talk. He apologizes. He says he knows he can a bit much at times. Levi surprises his friends and he will sign his stuff but they play music. Back at the school, Monty bates Victor with a burger and takes the claw out to return him to normal. The agent comes back saying they want to be a werewolf again for the ads. She leaves when they say he can't. They could've just use makeup. 

Episode Review:
An uncomfortable episode. I don't like werewolf episodes. Also an overzealous fan episode too. I know what it is to be in Levi's position and Chaz's and it just isn't a good for either side.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Sheriff Skyfire - Episode Review

Cosmo Royale reveals Blammo at Galaxy Warriors. He shows his bomb powers. Space police arrives. He is recognized as Sheriff Skyfire. He is about to arrest Blammo. Cosmo tries stopping him. Madam Odius tricks him, telling him the Power Rangers are thieves. He goes after them. A security guard tells one of the students no skate boards and he takes it. Victor and Monty want to be secutiy guards and sign up as deputies. They bother some girls. Hayley feeds her dog Kody. The officer writes her up, that dogs aren't allowed. Hayley takes Kody out. She accidentally puts a can in the trash and he writes her up again. The Rangers get called. 

The Rangers find Sheriff Skyfire in a parking lot. The Rangers morph.  They fight Skyfire. A blast gets reflected and hars a woman. Red Ranger and Skyfire help her. They explain they fight Odius. Skyfire finds out Odius is the bad one. The Ranger de-morph and he asks for a full report. Hayley gets a text from the principal. Spycam sees this. Odius doesn't care and sends Blammo. Blammo arrives at the junkyard and plants a bomb in a trash can. Victor and Monty arrive in scooters and make up their own rules and confiscate stuff they want. Hayley talks to the principal about her writeups. Principal wants her to seperate recyclables and trash at the junkyard and she helps the security guard. He shows her. He puts the bomb in the recycables. 

Clint wants to quit. Hayley feels bad. Skyfire tells her to put herself in his shoes. She takes the Tiger blaze zord to find Clint. The Rangers and Skyfire stop Clint and find the bomb. Hayley puts the bomb down a hole and it explodes. She thanks Clint. Blammo arrives and Clint leaves. The Rangers and Skyfire fight him. Skyfire does his signature move. Red goes to lion fire mode and uses Skyfire's sword. Blammo grows. Blaze Megazord fight Blammo. Skyfire must go and White thanks him and he leaves. The Rangers show Clint a new machine to help him out. Hayley apologizes to him and ask him not to quit. He tells them he met the Power Rangers. He says he'll stay. Kids come to ask for help. He helps against Victor and Monty for confiscating so much things. Victor and Monty turn into giant blueberries. 

Review:
Skyfire is Jiraya, a metal hero from 1988. He appeared as a guest in Ninninger because he is a ninja. This is the first time a Metal Hero guest with Power Ranger. He is the seventh Metal Hero to be adapted into English, following Speilban, Sherivan, Metalder (VR Troopers), B-Fighters, B-Fighters Kabuto (Beetleborgs) and Jansperson (Beetleborgs). 2018 is technically the 30th anniversary of Jiraya.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Prepare to Fail/Tech Support/Car Trouble - Episode Review

"Prepare to Fail"
Tynamon comes in with Badonna's favorite fighter Brax and she tells Tynamon she knows his secret. Sarah gets an A in the first half of a math test and feels her oats and doesn't study for the second half and fails. She is working on a superstar blade, Mick wants to finish it now but she ditches it to go to the movies. She learns she has to study regardless and even though the first half can be early, the end could be hard. They beat baddies easy first (Tynamon's idea to trick the Rangers) and then they are harder the second half. They fix the Super Star Blade which works with the lion star and destroy four skullgators.

Review:
It is a heavy handed episode. It is also cut-and-paste. The same thing happening in their lives and their ranger lives match but its so sloppy done. Also, the monster parts feel so lackluster and lazy. They pay attention more to the school parts. As a teacher, it is a important lesson but Sarah's acting is over the top, the cheesiness is distracting. 


"Tech Support"
Emma is Brody's student and thinks she is so good she can help the Rangers. She gets lucky and thinks she can beat them and start boasting. When the monster Typeface puts a virus in the Ranger's weapons, they blindfold Emma into the base to work on the virus. She learns her lesson that sometimes fighting can be also technical support and calls herself a tech ninja. She apologizes to Brody afterwards.

Review:
Surprisingly well done and acted. Some people were saying Sarah should have been the Green Ranger from the Ninninger special. But I think they would have negated the reason for the episode. Emma learned she didn't have to be physical in order to fight back. Showing that Brody did private training was good too in order to show that the Rangers have other things going on.

"Car Trouble"
A monster is sucking energy from cars and other things. He accidentally hits Victor and gives him electric powers that makes a Swedish spy interested in him. Calvin fixed a car and impresses a mechanic. The mechanic hires Calvin which was his dream so he quits school, which scares the others. Calvin boasts he can fix anything until he tries to fix the Lion Fire Zord and sees he can't and Mack can. He realizes he has to complete school and tells the mechanic he quits. They destroy the Monster and Victor looses his powers.

Review:
A ranger wanting to quit school is a new one but Tommy wouldn't had been far behind, having trouble with school before as well. Calvin hasn't always been the sharpest tool in the box. I don't like that these two seasons have been 'learn your lesson' episodes but this was a good one.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Magic Misfire - Episode Review

Preston is practicing in magic club. Vic and Monty come in, Vic wants to impress girls. Monty hypnotizes Vic into a chicken. A teacher comes in and is upset at a mess they made when a bee comes in. Preston accidentally puts the teacher to sleep and the principal comes in and she fires him. Little Tynamon is taken out of his Tynamon suit. He wants to be big. Odius tells him to bring Mick. She gives him a weapon. The Rangers practice a barrier. Preston comes in and is upset about the teacher firing. They come up with an idea to get him rehired. He overhears what the teens are trying to do. Preston tries with Principal but she says her decision is final. Tynamon follows Mick and zaps him. 

The Rangers fight Brax. They try the barrier but Brax laughs and fights Red within it. Brody de-morphs and the Rangers disable the barrier. The Rangers escape Brax. Redbot says Brody's star was damaged like when Foxatron did it. He tells them Mick is missing. Preston comes in. Calvin gives Preston an idea. Principal is making copies late, when Preston hid under the secetary's desk and puts her to sleep. Calvin messes up the copy machine. Hayley stops the fired teacher and Pink gives keys to Gold. Hayley leaves and the teacher finds the principal's keys and runs in the school. He finds the mess and the principal sleeping. He wakes her up and returns her keys. She thanks him. He helps clean up. She rehires him.  The Rangers fight without Brody (and the Lion armor). Tynamon and Odius talk about the deal. Tynamon and the Rangers fight. Blue uses the lion armor and Gold goes Superstar mode (poncho).

They do a dual attack and Tynamon is defeated but he reverses it. Hayley hits him in the face to reveal he is tiny. Brody arrives. Cosmo makes him giant. The Rangers call the zords. Fusionzord is formed. They call the Ultrazord and destroy Tynamon. Mr. Lunt talks to Preston and thanks him. He offers for a place for the magic club again. Everyone celebrates. Brody says chicken and Vic becomes a chicken again. They get a calla nd got o the base. They see Mick and he says he is going to visit his family as they are sick. Mick enters Odius' base and she convince him to make a satellite system for mind control. 

Episode Review:
Teacher is fired because of magic club so that's why it is called "Magic Misfire." ha. I am a teacher and yes, we don't sleep in class but I did know a teacher who 'rest his eyes' in the teacher's lounge which is allowed. What the Rangers did was a little extreme and I hope kids don't try to imitate something similar (of course without ninja skills).

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Doom Signal - Episode Review

 Mick has made a satellite to mind control. Brax asks for another chance. Odius says they will be watching tv instead. Dane gives a ride to his sons to the school. They have an audition for a TV show. Calvin comes late and Hayley is upset. He had engine trouble and forgot her props. Preston doesn't help. Hayley auditions. Vic and Monty audition. It ends up being funny, getting them the audition. Hayley and Calvin have an argument. The Rangers then see the audition guy turn into a monster and kidnap Vic and Monty. The Rangers morph and fight Gorrox. Brody dons Fire Armor. 

Brax returns. Cosmo makes both big. The Rangers call Ninja Steel and Ninja Blaze Megazords. They form the Ultrazord. They do their finalizer. Gorrox is destroyed. Brax hits them hard. Red forms Ninja Blaze Ultrazord. Sarah and Levi wield the Ninja Steel Megazord and attack first. Brax apologizes to Badonna and is destroyed. The Rangers return. Calvin tells Hayley she could've end up on the ship and says she shouldn't be mad. She is still angry and argue more. Preston tries to but in. Hayley thinks they need space. Calvin leaves. 

Badonna mourns Brax but goes nuts for the clowns (Vic and Monty). Vic and Monty aren't so happy but are  threatened. They are pushed to perform. Cosmo threatens them with a spike ball. They broadcast it to Earth to hypnotize them. A teacher tries changing channels but gets hypnotized for their trouble. Redbot finds the signal. Sarah asks Hayley if she is okay. Sarah and Hayley girl-talk while the guys keeps going. Sarah tells her she is a good performer and that she was a bit over the top. Hayley realizes Calvin was right. Sarah tells him he is better than he used to be. Hayley calls Calvin, he doesn't answer her and gets hypnotized too. The Rangers find the school is locked and the hypnotized principal tells her to go home. They see Basherbots inside. The Rangers talk to Redbot, he tells them of the show beaming to Earth and not to watch it. Redbot tells them about the mind control signal. Mick arrives, they see him bowing to Odius. They realize he is under her control. Badonna lets the army out and sent to the ship. To Be continued...

Review:
People were criticizing that Sarah says Calvin was 'better than before' like that old excuse abuse women say about abusive men. I like there was a riff between Hayley and Calvin. It was subtle all season with Calvin being forgetful and Hayley getting miffed and it now all coming to a head. It could've been handled with better tact though and stronger arguments for them sticking together. Sometimes two people aren't meant to be a relationship and better off as friends.

Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel - Reaching the Nexus - Episode Review

Mick takes Odius to the base. The gang split up. Hayley is worried about Calvin. Preston tells Redbot to get out of the base with the super steel. Odius blasts in. Mick is sent after the super steel. Redbot malfunctions. Badonna teleports people to the ship. Hayley and Sarah see Calvin is part of the group. Hayley and Sarah mixes in the groups. They hide from Basherbots. The other boys sneak through the junkyard. Mick makes a new star for Odisu and takes the Nexus. They attack the boys and leave. Redbot reboots. They hear from Sarah, they tell them they are on the ship. Redbot tells them about the satellites.

Sarah and Hayley sneak behind Cosmo and Victor and Monty leave the stage. Cosmo tells them to juggle explosive balls. The girls find the satllite room and Sarah fights the bots and Hayley enters. The clowns leave the stage as the grunts leave. The boys find Odius turning the nexus prism evil. She has Mick throw the star in the prism. It is a Nexus Super Star, they remember the one Dane took from the prism. Levi says it can be even more powerful. Dane is hypnotized and wants to destroy them with a sword. 


He fights his sons. His sons try to hold him down but fail. Preston try to hold him back. Odius watches. Preston calls Hayley, she found the dishes but is stopped by Calvin. Calvin has a sword. She is about to fall down and he threatens her. She blasts the signal with her blaster. Calvin saves Hayley. The spell wears off. Dane returns to normal. He is distruaght. Mick's spell wears off and runs to the boys. The super star gets in Odius' hands. They blast her and fail. She blinds them. Calvin and Hayley make up. She loves him for being honest. He apologizes too. They go. Sarah is beat up. Citizens come to help her. They throw the bots down the trash chutes. The duo reunite with Sarah. Hayley convinces Vic and Monty to teleport the humans back home. 

The Rangers reunite as Odius glows red. She knocks them all back. Dane and Mick leave. Odius has gained a large form. The Rangers morph. She blasts them. The Rangers run off. Back on the ship, Vic and Monty teleport the rest of the humans. Badonna and Cosmo berate the duo. The duo throw the balls on them and teleport away. The ship is sent away from the explosion. The Rangers combine the power of the Power Stars into their own Nexus Star and powers them up. They fight Odius. She is knocked down. They put their blades together and blast at her. Their blasts cancel out and The Rangers race towards her. They grunt and push their energy on her. They fly out and strike her. Red does his final attack. She explodes. The Rangers are tired. Vic and Monty are given a trophy at school for helping the people escap. Vic is happy to have his 50th trophy. The Power Stars return to the nexus prism. The Rangers say goodbye to the prism. They thank it and it leaves. They say goodbye to Mick and Redbot. They all hug. Mick says he's not leaving. He says he loves teaching shop. They do have to clean the base and they have exams. Mick says they are still a team.

Review:
Withe all the complaints fans have, it wasn't a bad season. It was sometimes boring or sometimes Anvilious with its morals and lessons. It had its good moments when Brody and Levi reunited. This cast was great. I did like the girl power in this ep and the Calvin and Hayley stuff. Where the season is stronger is at continuity and not repeating itself, which it does in spades. Sometimes things are hit and miss, they can't all be Dino Charge nor RPM nor In Space. etc.

Everyone was happy about Roxy (Escape) getting her own toy but perplexed as to why she had a green-yellowish color. In some new footage in a Habsro promo at NY Toy Fair, it is revealed she is indeed a goldish yellow. Since Hasbro had to re create the suits, they probably decided to change her from purple to gold. It is probably to go along with the Red Ranger/Blaze comparison. 

Someone commented on her having rabbit designs but Escape always had them.

"The Monster Mix-Up"
The teens are dressed for Halloween, Preston is a caveman, Sarah is an ace air pilot, Cal is a wrestler, Hayley is a disco star/hippie, Levi is king tut and Brody is a Trojan warrior/spartan. Monsters appear, Versix and the Grousome Grunts, six criminals. The Rangers have no Power Stars. They have nothing to do with Odius. Versix swaps their bodies. Calvin in the vampire guy Fangore, Hayley with the mouth on her head Jabberon, Levi as Snapper reused monster suit--Shelldax, Sarah as the Necrolai reused monster suit--Plasmora, Brody is the blue robot Ackshun and Preston as the orange one Stabberous. The Rangers as monsters are grunt except for Brody and Sarah.


Brody and Sarah leave. Mummy Guards arrive and take away the Grousome Grunts. They are taken the Halloween Intergalactic Court. The Monsters as Rangers are used as witnesses. Court Witch calls the case. Levi tells them that Brody saved the Nexus Prism (clips from the first episode). "Preston" continues the story. Pumpkin judges says it doesn't count. Court Witch says there is a meter to destruction for them. Meanwhile Brody and Sarah go to Mick and Redbot. They mention the Lion Galaxy and he believes them. Mick comes up with an idea. "Calvin" has evidence against Fangore but giving it away. "Hayley" helps too. They show a clip of the Rangers fighting Fangore. They dare Calvin to try garlic but it is Fangore's allergy. "Preston" talks about Stabberous, showing a clip where the Rangers put on capes.


Versix gets trashed after following Brody. The Guards arrive. Levi starts singing but the monsters as rangers don't like it. Pumpkin judges say having a good voice is not proof. The Guards come to the court with the other three monsters. Versix confesses. The grunts try to escape but are frozen and bodies switched by the witch. Versix changes into Mick. The six grunts are vaporized. Pumpkin judges apologize. The Rangers are called by Redbot that Versix escaped. Mick gives them the Power Stars and they morph. The Rangers fight Versix. Versix grows and Ultrazord is called. Ultrazord is split apart. The Rangers use their zords. They call Astro, Tusk and Surfer zords. They hit the monster. The six zords destroy him. Later, the Rangers celebrate trick or treating. Mick surprises them as a pumpkin judge.

Review:
Using unused footage that was otherwise didn't make sense without context (Garlic and magic capes) was smart. Interesting using the Halloween Intergalactic Court again from Dino Charge but since it has been established they are from another dimension, I wonder if they are interdimensional. 



"The Poisy Show"
The Ep starts that the Rangers won but with Sledge coming into the dimension. About Odius tricking him. Sledge arrives again at Warrior Dome and it is empty. The Bashers take trash out and Sledge surprises Poisy with her own show in place of Galaxy Warriors. She is happy with her talk show. Meanwhile, the teens volunteered to take donated toys to kids. They will have Santa help too. Preston shows a gift from Wes Collins--a transportal remote. They hear a message from Wes--they can travel to other dimensions and to use it wisely. Nexus Prism arrives and gives them their Power Stars again. Sledge and Snow Fright arrive. All except for Preston are trapped in snowmen. Preeston fights Sledge but both are sent into a portal. The Rangers are transported to the set and stars taken away.


Poisandra wonders where Sledge is and Snow Fright tells her. They arrive in Dino Charge dimension, Sledge takes the device and a dinosaur saves Preston. Poisandra starts her show. She talks about Venoma and shows clips of Cal, Levi, Preston and Brody falling in love. Brody says its a spell. Poisy says its like men and talks about Sledge. The Rangers figure out a plan. Sarah tells Poisandra 'true love' about her mom and Hayley's mom and they flashback to that episode. Sarah asks about Sledge and shes says she thinks he doesn't care about him. Preston and Koda bump into each other. Preston explains to Koda what happened. Koda can't believe Sledge is alive again and they morph. Back with Poisy, she asks Calvin and Hayley and they talk about tough times. Calvin mentions forgetting an anniversary and lying. They show clips.


Calvin says Sledge won't lie and Poisy says he does lie and she cries. Sledge is fought by the two blue rangers. Sledge blasts Koda down and Preston is up against him alone until a T-Rex yells at Sledge. Sledge drops the device and runs away. Koda tells him the T-Rex is his friend and won't hurt him. The dino leaves. Koda gets device. They open a portal and go to the show. Sledge follows them. Sledge yells Power Stars and Poisandra is angry that the show was a distraction. Levi tells Poisy to tell him how she feels. She is upset. Preston and Koda free the Rangers. They tale the stars. The Ninja Steel Rangers morph and leave. Sledge calls the Basherbots. The Rangers go down the garbage shute and end up in Santa's sledge. The Rangers except for Koda jump and fight the Basherbots and Snow Fright. Red goes to Lion Fire mode.

Sledge uses the Gigantify ray to make Snow Fright big. Koda leaves a big present for them. Megazords are called and fight Snow Fright. Ultrazord is called but becomes a snowman. It pops out of it. They destroy Snow Fright. Poisnadra opens the gift thinking its from Sledge but its a bomb from Koda and the ship is finally destroyed. Later, the Rangers at the junkyard thank Koda. Koda leaves to his dimension in a portal after calling them family and giving them clubs and inviting them to Caveman Christmas.

Episode Review:
The main attraction is the Sudarso brothers: Peter and Yoshi.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers - Beasts Unleashed - Episode Review

Summary:
Coral Harbor City. Clean X energy will be opened by the mayor and it will supposedly save the planet. The mayor will pull it. Meanwhile, a blonde guy Blaze is training karate with a guy (mayor's son Devon) with headphones and attitude. They challenge each other. They get aggressive with the karate. Ravi and Roxy try to get him to stop. The Mayor--Devon's son comes in and tells him to leave. Blaze says its not over. Devon was supposed to be at a cleaning carper job interview. Mayor is heading for Grid Battlegrid. Devon takes picture of ID. Mayor thinks it is a mistake and is not for it. Devon leavcs the limo as well. The security guard (with Bulk and Skull music) are funny with the mayor. Devon sneaks in with his dad''s ID. One of the laundry ladies Zoey introduces herself--she was cut and Mayor thinks she will go far. Commander Shaw arrives and takes Mayor to the lab. She shows them Morph-X, an energy that was turned into liquid by Nate, a kid genius.

Mayor says it is a mistake. Talking about different monsters who want to rule the universe and now that the grid has been 'wrapped around with a ribbon' an evil can go for it. Devon disguises himself. Now opening Sequence and commercial. Someone tells Devon to go to the lab. He sees three people on beds. Nate and the commander show the Mayor that the grid will mutate with animals the DNA into Power Rangers. Devon notices a purple energy enter a tube. Nate teleports a blade. The Ranger identities have to be secret. The mayor leaves. A snake scares Devon and his identity is revealed. Ravi, Blaze, and Roxy wake up. He tells them of the virus. He is taken to detention. Roxy and Ravi may be romantically involved, Ravi says they can't be together, Rangers can't date Rangers. Roxy seems heartbroken. The three cadets go under the device to change their DNA. Mayor does a speech. They activate the Morph-X. Alarm blares. Evox, the virus says the grid will be his. 

Commander says to abort. Devon escapes. Zoey doesn't run away but runs to the lab. The two goofy security bump intot hings.  Blaze glows and an evil Blaze arises from the real Blaze body. Blaze put sthe mask on. Devon and Zoey get together. Roxy is corrupted. They are avatars. Ravi is about to join them when Devons tops it. The two villains shoot Devon and get run over by Zoey. Ravi is mad about Roxy. Devon and Ravi double team Blaze. Zoey fights Roxy. Roxy wraps the three and put them under the DNA device. Nate shoots it and frees them. He morphs them. Ravi says they aren't Blaze and Roxy. The Rangers fight the two. Ravi tells Nate to teleport the two far away. They successfully do so. They take off their helmets. The real Roxy and Blaze are put under stasis. The three introduce each other. Nate says the virus duplicate the, the evil twins, they are linked. As long as their avatars are awake, they are asleep. Apparently the commander is Ravi's mom. Commander says they are the Power Rangers. Zoey says she is proud to take their place. Devon says he's in. 

Review:
Greta start and feel. The Rangers have parents that are involved, Ravi has a personal stake on Roxy. They some callbacks. I like that is slow moving and the first episode effectively introduced the whole cast and the characters clearly. Devon is the hyper kid wanting a bigger challenge, Zoey is the Type A go-getter that doesn't give up and Ravi is the follow-the-rules guy. I asked my grandnephew what he thought, he said boring. My grandniece says she is disappointed there is no pink. There is Go-Busters elements like the giant energy thingy, the lab and base and there are MMPR elements such as the youth center, karate and Bulk and Skull music. 

Some people have called this a "Jungle Fury"-"RPM" hybrid. The "DNA" part reminds me of Operation Overdrive, the beasts remind me of Jungle Fury and the whole base reminds me of SPD and RPM. The whole episode feels like a Disney episode with vibrant characters, lots of good story points and pacing. It is not all perfect, the whole karate fight between Blaze and Devon seemed awkward and strange motivations on both parts. The romantic link between Ravi and Roxy didn't feel genuine. Also, the Bulk and Skull music? So obvious. Good points go to the Mayor, Commander and Nate. Nate is a capable character and charming and not annoying like other kid geniuses (Cubert from Futurama and Wesley Crusher from Star Trek). Commander is capable, caring and stern all together. Good start.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers - Evok's Revenge - Episode Review

Summary: 
Roxie and Blaze arrive in the Cyber Dimension and meet Skrozzle and Tronics. Evok emerges and tells Skrozzle to bow down to him. They offer him Morph-X to teleport the robots and avatars but can't transport Evox. The Rangers came out of the simulator and head to the main room for an announcement. They meet their new tactical companions, the Beast Bots. Jax has a New York accent and doesn't like to be called cute. Smash is a hugging type and has a deep voice. Cruise (Kelson Henderson) is a little forgetful and has a Sonic-like voice. Betty and Ben present the Zap-o-matic and they both get zapped.  Vargoyle is after Skrozzle and he is hiding from him. He gives them keys to teleport. Blaze and Skrozzle leave. The commander shows them their zords. Ravi and Zoey compete to be a leader. The commander schools Ravi. Devn gets distracted with the Beast Blaster. The Rangers get called. Blaze bumps Morph-X outside. Zoey steps up. Blaze morphs. Tronics arrive. Intro and commercial.

The teens fight Tronics. Blaze and Devon fight. Zoey and Ravi show off. Devon tells them to stop fighting. Skrozzle makes a Robotron out of tires, Morph-X and the Evox virus and makes Cycletron. The Rangers morph. Blaze and Skrozzle leave. The Rangers transport their Beast X Sabers and fight the Tronics. Blue fights Cycletron. Red calls his Beast-X Blaster. Ben and Betty cheer. A dog arrives in fron tof Devon and he freezes. Ben and Betty protect him. The dog leaves and Devon un-freezes. Ravi heats up and starts blasting at Zoey. Zoey looses energy. Devon stops Ravi and blasts the monster. The vans arrive with Beast Bots. Smash tackles Ravi. Meanwhile in the Cyber Dimension, Skrozzle says Gigadrones can be powered with the Morph-X they gathered. 

Nathan scans the Rangers. Ravi and Zoey are still about beating Blaze but are tired. Devon tells them to stop competing. He says Ben and Betty worked as a team to help him. Devon tells the Commander he is going to the spot to find out why they got weak. Back at the Cyber Dimension, Skrozzle rises a Gigadrone from underneath and sent to the city. Devon morphs on to Cruise the cycle. Racer Zord is deployed. They get picked by the Racer and the two enter the cockpit. Cruise is linked and they activate Battle mode. Devon fights the Gigadrone that looks like Cycletron. Devon sees a dog and freezes again. Comander calls the Rangers. Nathan realizes the connection of cheetahs and dogs. Evok virus corrupted their DNA making the weakness. Zoey eats the carrot and feels better. If Ravi doesn't overheat, he's fine. Zoey and Jax link to the zord. Ravi and Smash connect to their zord. 

Zoey gets hit and goes down. Ravi saves her. Jackrabbit Mode is activated and the zord does Underground strike. She kicks the drone on Devon and he no longer sees the dog and is fine. He transports the Cheetah Beast Blaster. He strikes the monster down. Virus Eliminated. The Rangers regroup and Commander is concerned and says they are confident the Rangers will be ready. Zoey and Ravi say that Devon helped them out so he should be leader. Devon is shocked. Commander agrees. He thanks Betty and Ben. Smash hugs the,. They all get shocked by Ben's Zappo-matic.

Review:
First of all, I still like the cold opening. Usually a Power Rangers show has a short cold opening, goes to opening sequence and does act one with episode title. This time, Act One starts and ends with the opening sequence. Interesting that they used the Go-Busters weaknesses in this series. Red had the weakness of seeing a chicken and freezing, now Devon sees a dog instead of a chicken. Blue stays the same with overheating. Yellow would get weak and eat candy to energy up, this series smartly puts a carrot to tie in with the rabbit and be healthy example. I also like the tie to the Evok Virus to cause these weaknesses. As for Devon being a leader, I'd be all for it except for him constantly saying it is like a video game. I do like the Megazord catchphrase being "Virus Eliminated." This episode used much more Go-Busters footage than the last episode but that is a given since the last one had only original footage. Also interesting they established the difference between Robotron and Gigadrone, most seasons wouldn't bother. Also deploying the zords remind me of Timeranger and the GB guards helping the Rangers reminds me of Shinkenger. So another good episode.

Skruzzle is an American creation and reminds people of Finster with the tools. I say he could also be a Dragon because he has enough arsenal to be his own threat. So he could sneak up and be the main villain of the second season.
